Recovered project

I made this ceramic heart box four summers ago and gave it to my friend Cindy to fire in her camp kiln. I totally forgot I even made it until she gave it back to me last month. I spent so many hours on it too.

I scratched the white out from the black glaze (it was supposed to be a spider web) and painted the fireflies with chrome and green glow-in-the-dark glazes.

A basement is a tricky place to built a studio, but not even cement walls will stand in my way now.

I'm pretty psyched to not have to shuffle projects around just to clear a space to sleep.
