I finally got around to using some of the beads I got in Boulder a few months ago, and some chains I collected over the years

Glitterlimes @ GAGA'S WORKSHOP

JP & I finally made it out to Barneys NY(Madison Av) on Wednesday night! Here are some photos I took focusing on Glitterlimes products...

(MORE PHOTOS AFTER THE JUMP...)

serious weight

Made with ceramic beads I carved and fired, bolt washers, hex nuts, and very big very heavy black carved bone.

ceramics, etc

This is a bead carved from clay, glazed and fired. It's supposed to look like a particular kitty I know,

...it was made as a gift, here is the box ^_^

ceramics!

ring holder, glazed with Mayco "Black Ice", pre-cone 06 firing

beads, also glazed with "Black Ice" after both firings.

With these two (for my sister and Sabrina), I might want to go back and actually paint something on the beads:

This is an earring I invented for myself, I have large (but quickly shrinking) hole in each of my lobes from when I used to stretch them out for plugs. I used feathers, wood beads, and colored string. It ties into a bow around my lobe:

Other than that, been working in my sketchbook and reading.

Hey, has anyone heard anything about Portfolio 30???

safety first!

More henna themed stuff. Silver paint marker on black rubber gloves. I was going to decorate them both differently but I got a little bored and just wanted to finish so I can move onto the next project. Whatever that is.

henna happy

I'm leaving for Ireland tomorrow, gonna be gone for a few weeks. So I figured now is a good time to henna some tattoos I want, since I won't have another job interview for at least another 3 weeks.

I even jazzed up an old tattoo....

bead day

After my mom had me mend a few of her necklaces yesterday I was in the mood this afternooon to make a few more of my own...
