forgotten projects
Home recovering from minor surgery today, so here's some older art projects I never posted....

Ringholder #2
I grabbed the last ringholder at work before it sold out, and I was determined to get right the triangular netted pattern in the mirror black glaze I had tried months ago. I regretted blocking out every other triangle and it looked like I didn't add enough layers at the top.
So I decided to keep it clean and simple. I carefully, and painstakingly, made sure I had 3 coats on all the lines. I was also happy with the way I represented my name on the bottom with the black indelible pencil. But, this time, it was too much glaze!
GUH! I feel like Goldilocks! I'll find that sweet spot eventually!
For now, I think the two failed attempts compliment each other. Along with the mini pinched bowl in the same glaze (below), they fit in quite nicely on my dresser.
